Hardcover 20x25 cm, 224 pages. Basically a lavishly-illustrated book about British flying men in WWI. Lots of great photos. Many extracts from individual diaries or unit war records that describe unique incidents or events that demonstrate a point. No overall grand analysis or point, but fascinating reading if you are interested in this period. Nothing about Central Powers flyers, and American or French pilots are mentioned only when they intersect or serve with the British pilots (the naval flyers are covered as well as the RFC).9780713715927
