Trucks of the Wehrmacht (German Vehicles in World War II)

Hardcover 18x26 cm, 208 pages. This book hits that spot perfectly for the WWII German Wehrmacht. This book is a pictorial, but don't let that fool you. There's a lot of good info here beginning with the organization of the commissary units of the German army. There are tables of equipment for supply columns of every sort. The book then moves on to the types of trucks employed by the German army. They used trucks by many manufacturers such as Krupp, Daimler Benz, Magirus, MAN, Opel, Ford,...there's even a section on captured vehicles used by the Wehrmacht! Each section, organized around the manufacturer, gives the basics of the trucks the company sold to the German army. The text and captions under each picture give the specs on engine, weight capacity, suspension etc. There are a lot of good photos of each type of truck including manufacturer pics, prewar photos and pictures from wartime.
