The Aero Detail series has been an invaluable resource for airplane modelers and World War 2 aviation enthusiasts and this first issue sets a very high standard. Aero Detail No.1 takes a detailed look at the ME Bf109E through full color museum photos, technical drawings and more by profiling two individual Me 109 Emils: A Bf 109 E-3 preserved at the Deutsches Museum in Munich, and a Bf 109 E-3/B preserved at the Battle of Britain Museum in Hendon. I've seen the Deutsches Museum example in person and it is one of the best preserved 109's in the world. The photos in the Aero Guide are the next best thing to being there. Technical illustrations are abundant as well and cover every subsystem of the aircraft.
